Nightforce NX8 1-8x24mm F1 Capped FFP Scope | 30mm Tube, Waterproof & Fogproof

Overview

The Nightforce NX8 1-8x24mm F1 Capped First Focal Plane scope is designed to adapt to fast-changing field conditions. With a flexible 1 to 8x magnification, it blends the speed of close quarters with the precision needed for mid range shots. The 30mm tube supports rugged durability and repeatable performance in challenging environments.

In addition to its rugged construction, the scope uses a first focal plane reticle that scales with magnification, so holdovers and aiming references remain consistent as you zoom. This feature is paired with capped turrets that shield windage and elevation adjustments from incidental touches or debris, helping you keep settings steady in the field.

What makes it stand out

FC-DMX reticle details

The FC-DMX reticle features a small center dot for high magnification and a large segmented circle for quick target acquisition. This arrangement aims to balance precision with visibility in dynamic scenarios.

Real-world use cases

Hunters navigating brush and timber lines can leverage the 1x setting for doorway shots and quick target hits, then dial to mid range for longer holds. The protective caps help prevent unintended adjustments after setup in damp or dusty environments, while the 30mm tube supports repeatable sighting when re-zeroing after a rough hike. The reticle design supports fast engagement without sacrificing measurement accuracy as you adjust magnification.

Durability and care

Constructed to withstand weather and field wear, this Nightforce scope is designed for long-lasting reliability. Regular maintenance and proper sealing checks help preserve its waterproof and fogproof performance over time.
