Nishine Lure Works Simcoe 75#1 Ghost Shad 75mm / 16.1g – Lipless Crankbait

Overview

The Nishine Lure Works Simcoe 75 Ghost Shad is a lipless shad imitation designed to mimic the familiar forage that game fish chase across many North American waters. At a compact 3.0 inches in length and a balanced 16.1 g weight, this lure blends a slender profile with a solid presence in the water. Expect a tight, purposeful action that translates into crisp hooks during both steady retrieves and opportunistic jigging. The lure’s clean design also lends itself to a variety of fishing styles without overwhelming the angler with noise or excessive disturbance.

Design and Versatility

This model is built for adaptability. It features two weight options and two tying eye placements, allowing you to tailor depth and rigging to the conditions at hand. Choose the original weight for standard depths or switch to the heavier option to reach deeper zones; pair that with a front eye for certain rigs or a rear eye for others. The result is a flexible tool you can tune to match weed edges, open water, or transitional zones.

• Two weight types: original and heavy weight for flexible depth control
• Two tying eye positions: front eye and rear eye for rigging variety

Performance in Real Conditions

The Simcoe 75 Ghost Shad is designed for a wide range of species and environments. It excels when fished near shallow weed lines (roughly 1 m or less) and also when jigging in deeper water beyond 10 meters. With a non-rattle body and a steady sinking cadence, the lure maintains a clean signal through the rod, helping anglers detect subtle strikes. Use it to target Black Bass, Pike, Muskie, Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout, Lake Trout, and Channel Catfish, among others.

• Recommended targets include Black Bass, Pike, Muskie, Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout, Lake Trout, and Channel Catfish
• Suitable for shallow weed edges and deep-water scenarios
