Nomad Design Madmacs Sinking High Speed Lure - Black Pink Mackerel 8in

Meet the Nomad Design Madmacs Sinking High Speed Lure

The Madmacs is built for offshore trolling with a wide speed range and no extra weight. Troll smoothly from 5 to 20 knots while maintaining a lifelike swim, even in choppy conditions. The striking black and pink mackerel pattern boosts visibility in blue-water, helping the lure stand out as you cover water quickly.

Rugged construction for offshore adventures

Crafted with a foam-filled body for buoyancy and resilience, the lure resists dings and maintains its shape when conditions tighten. An internal Metal Matrix Plate System adds stiffness, supporting a consistent action through long passes. The Pat. Pending Autotune System enhances stability, helping the lure track predictably at speed.

• High-speed trolling from 5 kn to 20 kn with no added weight
• Pat. Pending Autotune System and full internal Metal Matrix Plate System for strong, smooth action
• Foam-filled body for buoyancy and durability across speeds
• Rigged with inline single hooks, ready to fish out of the box
• Designed to troll in a spread with your DTX minnow to cover the water column

Depth, speed, and versatility in real-world conditions

The Madmacs swims at approximately 4–15 feet depending on trolling speed, giving you flexibility to target species that cruise near the surface or mid-water. Its color pattern provides contrast in a variety of light conditions, helping anglers maintain a visible lure as the boat moves through chop and glare.

When used as part of a multi-bait spread, this lure helps you present a dynamic profile across depths without heavy gear changes. The combination of visibility, action, and strength makes it a practical option for diverse offshore setups, while still staying easy to handle under typical fishing conditions.

Usage tips and setup considerations

• Experiment with speeds within the 5–20 knot range to locate the depth window that triggers bites
• Inspect hooks and connections before each outing to ensure reliable performance
• Pair with a compatible spread to maximize coverage of the water column
