Overview

Meet the FREGITO Nylon Monofilament Cast Net, a versatile throwing net designed for both saltwater and freshwater use. Built from extra-soft nylon monofilament, it delivers durability with minimal water absorption, helping you reel in a clean, predictable cast and reduce line snag on retrieval.

Core design and benefits

  • Durable nylon monofilament minimizes tangling and holds up under repeated casts in varied water conditions.
  • Weighted with iron chain weights at about 1 pound per foot to promote quick sinking and reduce spray when entering the water.
  • Standard 3/8 inch mesh balances catching a broad range of bait species with easy casting from shore or boat.
  • Thick polyethylene hand rope provides tension and reach for longer casts toward farther water edges.
  • Top connections are sealed with a stainless steel swivel (2.25 inches) to improve haul stability and load-bearing capacity.
  • Construction supports both saltwater and freshwater environments, making it a flexible option for coastal and inland trips.

Real-life use scenarios

Use this net when you’re targeting live bait near seagrass beds, docks, or rocky shores. The camouflage green hue blends with vegetation, aiding stealthy bait capture in natural habitats.

  • Live bait gathering: predictable throws for catching mullet, shad, minnows, or shrimp in coastal bays.
  • Shallow-water casting: sink quicker for rapid bait replenishment between casts.
  • Durable in rough conditions: sturdy monofilament resists wear during rugged shore work.

Care, warranty, and getting started

Rinse after use and dry thoroughly to prolong life. If there’s a product quality issue, FREGITO offers a free replacement. Enjoy learning how the net performs in your favorite waters at your own pace.
