Description

Overview

The Outcast Super Fat Cat float tube is built for still-water days and long-distance sessions. At 64 inches long and 45 inches wide, it offers ample space while remaining portable at just 13 pounds. The 13" tube diameter provides buoyant stability across calm water, keeping you comfortably afloat as you cast and drift.

Design, Materials, and Capacity

Constructed with a sturdy 420 Denier / 1000 PVC base fabric and a durable 20 oz per square yard material weight, the tube uses fabric-protected urethane Airecell bladders. With three independent chambers, you can inflate with confidence and perform quick repairs if needed without draining the entire tube. The load capacity sits at 300 pounds, making it a reliable platform for a single angler and gear.

Key Benefits and Real-World Use

  • Inflatable seat keeps you above the waterline, improving visibility and comfort during long sessions.
  • Pack-down design compresses tighter than foam seats, aiding storage in tight spaces or trunks after a day on the water.
  • U-boat design offers efficient water flow and a stable profile, helping you cover water with less effort on calm days.
  • Stripping apron system helps you manage lines and gear while fishing, with optional backpack straps for easy transport.
  • Durable urethane bladders and protected fabric construction resist wear and are relatively easy to repair, extending service life.

Practical Details

Valve type is Summit II for reliable inflation and quick top-offs. The overall footprint (64" x 45" with a 13" tube) balances space, visibility, and stability. A built-in carry handle adds convenience, and the system is ready for optional accessory straps to tailor the setup to your preferences.

Why It Works for You

If you value a lightweight yet rugged float platform for extended trips on still water, the Super Fat Cat offers a sensible blend of portability, stability, and angling-ready features. It emphasizes practical performance over hype, presenting a credible option for anglers who want a durable, easy-to-use float tube without sacrificing on space or comfort.
