Description
The Outdoor Research Crocodile Classic Gaiters are built to handle damp trails and windy passes with dependable weather protection. Utilizing Gore-Tex 3L construction, these gaiters deliver waterproof and windproof performance while remaining breathable enough to reduce internal moisture during long treks.
Premium materials meet rugged design
Bluesign approved layers combine with 100% nylon and durable Cordura to form a protective shell. The upper leg panel uses 70D nylon, while the lower exterior relies on Cordura 2L and a reinforced 1000D woven foot panel. The interior packs in a 420D packcloth lining with a PU coating for additional resilience.
Built to endure the trail
- Waterproof, windproof, and abrasion-resistant construction keeps pace with wet, rocky, and muddy terrain.
- Durable BioThane instep strap, reinforced boot lace hooks, and a double-stitched front closure for secure, long-lasting wear.
- Full range sizing from S to XXL ensures a versatile fit across different boots and leg measurements.
Practical advantages and real-world use
- When rain rolls in or puddles form, these gaiters help prevent dampness inside the boot while allowing breathability for comfort.
- Crossing streams or trudging through muck becomes easier with the tough exterior and ankle-to-knee coverage that shields the boot opening.
Note: These gaiters emphasize performance and durability. They offer protective features that may help in challenging conditions, but individual results can vary with terrain and use. Be sure to consult the size chart to find your best fit.
