Paramount Outdoors Slate Guide Pant – Waist-High Zippered Wader for Fly Fishing

Paramount Outdoors Slate Guide Pant redefines waist-high wader gear for fly fishing, marrying rugged build with all-day comfort. The 4-ply nylon upper and 6-ply full-wrap lower leg work together to help reduce seam chafe while standing in current-wet river margins, offering durable protection without overheating on warm days.

At the heart of the design is a 100% waterproof and breathable construction. The essence of this combination is keeping moisture out while letting heat and moisture escape, so you stay drier and more comfortable as you move, bend, and cast along the bank.

Key features at a glance

• 4-ply upper and 6-ply lower leg reinforcement promote seam integrity and long-term durability.
• TiZip Masterseal 6 front zipper provides reliable waterproof sealing and easy access when nature calls or you need to adjust quickly.
• Removable heavy elastic suspenders and a matching wading belt offer adaptable fit for different water conditions and user preferences.
• Waist-high design reduces overall bulk while maintaining freedom of movement for casting and stepping through shallow water.

Real-world use and comfort

Picture yourself on a bright river morning: the fabric stays quiet against your skin, the breathability keeps you comfortable as you move, and the front opening makes breaks by the bank simple. The mix of 4-ply upper and 6-ply lower leg wards off splash and moisture during longer trips.

• Better riverside access and on/off when standing at the water's edge, thanks to the front zipper.
• Abrasion-resistance in lower legs guards active wading days on rocky riverbeds.
• Adjustable fit via removable suspenders ensures a secure feel for different stances and gear loads.
• Comfortable mobility during casts thanks to a waist-high cut that reduces bulk.

Care, fit, and options

Care is straightforward: rinse with fresh water after use, dry away from direct heat, and store in a cool, ventilated area. The design emphasizes a balanced blend of stiffness for protection and flexibility for movement, so you can focus on the water, your line, and your rhythm rather than gear fuss.
