PITTMAN Lil Xciter 3-Reed Diaphragm Turkey Call - 226 | Pittman Game Calls

Compact, beginner-friendly turkey call with big potential

The PITTMAN Lil Xciter 3-Reed diaphragm turkey call is built for comfort and consistency in the field. Its slim profile and lightweight feel make it easier to manage for players with smaller palates or those who prefer a gentler touch when imitating gobblers.

In practice, this design shines when you need quick setup and predictable response. The call's thin construction and cutter-type cut help produce a crisp rasp and clear mid-range tones that can mimic clucks, purrs, and light splits without overwhelming the player’s voice.

Key design choices

The three-reed setup keeps the airflow flexible, enabling smooth transitions between soft calls and sharper phrases. The cutter-type cut yields bite and character in the mid-range, which helps you stand out in denser hunting scenery or during early-season chatter.

• Thin 3-reed construction supports a wide range of tones
• Cutter-type cut adds crisp, mid-range character
• Small frame fits easily in mouths and hands for long sessions

Who benefits from a compact diaphragm call

With its small frame, the Lil Xciter is well suited for men, women, and younger hunters who might be challenged by larger devices. Its approachable size can reduce fatigue and promote steady, controlled calling across multiple attempts.

In the field, the call delivers defined sounds without requiring extreme mouth tension. Its modest footprint makes it easy to position and adjust during blinds or treelines, helping you react to turkey responses with confidence.

Field-ready tips and use cases

• Compact form supports discreet, low-profile calling in brushy cover
• Clear, repeatable tones aid timing and phrasing in real hunts
• Great for beginners seeking a relaxed learning curve

Practical guidance: start with soft, forgiving calls, then gradually increase volume as you gain control. Practice with the call at a comfortable angle and experiment with air pressure to find your preferred tone. This approach helps you build consistency over time.
