Description
Taste-Free Hydration, Built for the Trail
Meet the Platypus Big Zip EVO 1.5L, a premium hydration reservoir designed to minimize taste transfer while keeping pace with your outdoor adventures. Made with food-grade, BPA-free, BPS-free and phthalate-free materials, it aims for a clean, neutral sip every time, even after long days on the trail.
Two Valve Styles for Flexible Hydration
Choose EVO with Fast Flow Valve for higher throughput, or the Standard Valve for a steadier pace. The Fast Flow option can deliver up to 50% more flow than the standard valve, helping you stay hydrated without slowing down. The HyFLO self-sealing bite valve and a generous 5/16-inch diameter tube support smooth, reliable sipping on the move.
Designed for Convenience
Smart features streamline use in the field: Secure SlideLock opens and closes with one hand, and a high-mount quick-disconnect makes attaching or detaching the tube fast without digging into your pack. The leak-proof shut-off valve instantly stops flow when you pause, keeping gear clean and dry.
Care, Drying, and Durability
- To dry, wipe the interior and prop the reservoir open with the SlideLock to air-dry completely.
- Easy cleaning and fast drying are supported by the straightforward design and removable parts.
The 1.5-liter Big Zip EVO measures 8.5 x 13 inches and weighs 5.6 ounces. It carries a manufacturer’s limited lifetime warranty and is made in the USA, reflecting durable craftsmanship for repeated use under rugged conditions.
