Overview

Pro-Troll HotChip 11-Inch Flasher in UV plaid is a classic trolling favorite redesigned with modern bait technology. The traditional flasher profile remains familiar to anglers who rig and troll at varied speeds while pursuing salmon and other target species.

In the water, flashers are known for creating motion, color, and light. The HotChip line adds embedded EChip bait technology in the tail, designed to replicate the electrical signals of live bait. This subtle cue can help draw attention from nearby predators as the lure runs behind the boat, creating opportunities as you cover water.

Key benefits you may notice

  • Traditional flasher shape paired with modern bait technology for a familiar, reliable action.
  • Embedded EChip bait technology duplicates live bait signals, potentially encouraging strikes by curious predators.
  • High-strength hardware with 200 lb test ball bearing swivels at both ends for smooth, durable trolling.
  • Wide finish selection — over 20 options for HotChip 11 flashers, including UV plaid for high visibility.

What to expect on the water

When rigged behind a lure and pulled at a steady tempo, the 11-inch flasher spins and shimmers as light catches the tape and finishes. The UV plaid option boosts visibility in dawn, dusk, or stained water, helping your presentation stand out in challenging conditions.

The combination of bright plastics, color-tape accents on both sides, and embossed silver tape has made flashers a staple for many boats. The HotChip’s tail technology adds an additional sensory cue that some anglers find effective in practical trolling scenarios.

How to use

Pair this flasher with your preferred lure or cut bait, then troll along at a comfortable pace that suits your water and target species. Ensure the tail remains correctly oriented to maximize the EChip effect and maintain clean lines for reliable action.
