Hybrid lure design that blends rigidity with lifelike tail action

The Rapala XROU17-OG X-Rap Otus in Olive Green combines an ABS body with a soft PVC tail, creating a durable profile with responsive movement. The result is a lure that can deliver both aggressive twitches and subtle glides under water.

Key features

  • Hybrid construction: ABS body for lasting durability; soft PVC tail for natural wobble and flexible action
  • Sinking type for controlled depth and longer casts
  • Curly tail wave and rolling action helps attract attention at varying depths
  • Includes 1 spare tail for quick swaps and continued performance

Specs at a glance

  • Length: 6.7 inches (17 cm)
  • Weight: 1.4 oz (40 g)
  • Color: Olive Green
  • Type: Sinking lure

Use scenarios:

  • Freshwater casting near weed edges, submerged structure, or around docks
  • Retrieves that vary from steady to twitch-and-pause to trigger strikes from predatory fish
