RATSACK The Ultralight Camping Bundle - Large Rodent-Proof Bear Bag System for Backpacking

Meet the RATSACK Ultralight Camping Bundle

The RATSACK Ultralight Camping Bundle is designed for hikers and campers who value lightweight gear that still provides dependable food protection. Handmade in the USA, this bundle pairs a rodent-proof food storage solution with a complete hanging system and trusted odor- and waterproof bags. It’s a compact, packable option for keeping food and scented items out of reach of wildlife, while fitting comfortably into a standard backpack on multi-day trips.

Rodent-Proof Design you Can Feel in the Field

At the heart of the bundle is a Ratsack Cache Bag crafted from durable stainless steel mesh. The design emphasizes breathability and strength, delivering a practical barrier between your provisions and curious rodents or small animals. In real-world camping scenarios, this setup can reduce the need to rotate food or improvise quick storage solutions, letting you focus on your itinerary and camp routines.

Built to withstand outdoor use, the mesh construction supports repeated setup, roughly handling weather changes, and easy refreshing after a night in damp or breezy environments. While no system can guarantee wildlife avoidance, the rodent-proof approach provides a dependable option for restocking camp food and scented items with minimized risk of intrusion.

Complete System for Easy, Bear-Safe Storing

The bundle includes a proven bear bag hanging kit with strong paracord and a carabiner cord, plus Coghlan’s odor-proof and waterproof bags. This combination offers an all-in-one solution for suspending food high in a tree and protecting it from moisture and odors that might attract wildlife. The result is a streamlined hanging process that many campers find more accessible than bulkier alternatives.
