Description
Overview
The Rebel F71-61 Wee Frog is a compact topwater crankbait designed to resemble a young frog skimming the water's surface. Its shape and pattern aim to trigger instinctive strikes from predator fish that patrol vegetation edges.
The leopard frog color pattern adds a believable visual cue that helps the lure stand out in clear water or against sun-dappled shadows. The lure measures 2 inches and weighs 3/8 ounce, with a stout #6 hook designed to hold up to aggressive strikes.
How it works on the water
- Topwater lure with a frog-like silhouette that sits on the surface
- Leopard frog color pattern provides a lifelike look in clear water
- Sharp #6 hook combined with 2 in length for reliable hookups
- Designed for shallow retrieves near vegetation edges
How to fish it
- Cast toward bank cover, then retrieve slowly to mimic a dazed frog
- Use rod-tip sweeps to generate a natural leg kick and movement
- Try erratic pulls with short pauses to provoke strikes in clear water streams
- Target weed lines and lily pads within 3-4 ft of depth
Specs and setup

- Weight: 3/8 ounces

Best conditions and tips
