REEF Reef Runner Cicada Lure, 3/8-Ounce, Silver/Silver

Overview

The Reef Runner Cicada Lure is a 3/8-ounce hardbait designed to mimic a small insect in water. Its bug-like silhouette and a concave blade work together to deliver perceptible vibrations while you retrieve, paired with a fluttering flutter on the fall that can draw interest from nearby fish.

What makes it stand out

• Bug-inspired shape that can prompt a natural strike when retrieved with a steady cadence.
• Concave blade enhances vibration characteristics, helping the lure feel lively in the water.
• Balanced 3/8-ounce weight supports versatile casting for shore, boat, or pier setups.
• Silver/Silver finish reflects light to improve visibility in varied lighting conditions.
• Compact packaging with defined dimensions keeps shipping and storage simple: 5.08 cm (length) × 3.555 cm (width) × 1.524 cm (height).

Design and action details

The Cicada’s compact profile is designed to ride in the upper water column with a lively tailing action. When retrieved, it delivers a clear vibration signature that anglers can feel through the rod, while the fall exhibits a darting flutter that can help attract attention in deeper or murky water.

How to use

Try a steady retrieve with brief pauses to let the lure flutter on the fall. Subtle twitches or short pulls can shift the lure’s direction, simulating a darting insect and potentially triggering bites from curious fish.

Real-world scenarios

• Shoreline and shoreline-adjacent chatter where vibrations can help the lure stand out against background noise.
• Near weed lines, lily pads, and submerged structure where flutter on the fall can help draw attention to hiding fish.
• Boat or dock setups where quick casts cover water quickly and let you test different retrieve rhythms.

Note: This lure is designed to support effective action, but results depend on water conditions, depth, and fish behavior. Use it as a versatile option to test alongside other setups in your area.
