Overview

Region Fishing presents the Tungsten Bead Purple Rainbow Warrior Midge Nymph, a thoughtfully crafted pattern designed to perform with consistency across trout waters. The compact profile carries a dense tungsten bead, helping the fly reach feeding lanes faster and stay in the strike zone where trout often focus their attention. This color variation builds on the proven Rainbow Warrior concept, offering a vivid combination that can catch a curious eye even in stained or murky conditions.

Why this nymph stands out

• Descends quickly thanks to the tungsten bead, reducing the need for extra weight.
• Purple Rainbow color pattern enhances visibility in various light conditions without losing a natural nymph look.
• Mustad Signature hooks deliver reliable strength and improved hook ups during retrieves.
• Premium materials and careful construction are designed for durability across days on the water.

Product details and bundle

• Sold as a 12-fly assortment with four hook sizes: 16, 18, 20, and 22.
• Three flies per size provide versatility for different run sizes and depths.
• Designed for flexibility: use as either a front or back fly depending on the drift and water current.

Whether you are nymphing fast pocket water or slow, feature-rich runs, this pattern offers a practical balance of weight, color, and hook quality. The combination aims to reduce the number of underperforming casts and help you cover more water with confidence. While every fishing moment is unique, many anglers have found this variation to be a solid addition to a nymphing rig, thanks to its depth capability and dependable construction. Enjoy the deliberate action of a well-proportioned midge when presented in the right current, and consider pairing this nymph with a lighter or heavier point fly to adjust depth quickly as conditions change.

Usage ideas

• Cast upstream, keep a steady retrieve to let the tungsten bead pull the fly toward the feeding lane.
• Experiment with a front or back position on the rig to find the most effective drift for the day.
• Pair with a matching nymph or pair with a lighter dry to create a two-fly setup for selective trout.

From a practical standpoint, the Purple Rainbow Warrior Midge Nymph combines depth, visibility, and sturdy hook geometry in a ready-to-ship package. It is a versatile option worth trying across a range of water types and trout species, offering potential benefits without promising guaranteed results.
