Region Fishing Tungsten Bead Squirmy Worms – Fly Fishing Set, 10 Flies in 5 Colors

Region Fishing presents the Tungsten Bead Squirmy Worms, a versatile worm pattern that blends weight, motion, and color into one tempting package for trout and other sport fish. This setup is designed to get you closer to feeding fish with a practical, ready-to-use presentation that works across common freshwater scenarios.

With a tungsten bead crafted to help descend quickly, this pattern puts the fly where fish often cruise—deeper channels, ledges, and near weed lines. The silicone worm body adds a convincing undulation as currents carry the fly along the bottom, through structure, and along edge zones. Anglers report that the combination of depth control and lifelike wiggle can lead to engaging takes in mixed water conditions.

How and where to fish this pattern

These flies shine when presented near structure, weed lines, and drop-offs where trout patrol for wormlike prey. In deeper or murkier water, the tungsten bead helps maintain depth control while the silicone body produces inviting movement during a steady or incidental retrieve.

Designed to be adaptable, this set supports different fishing styles—from slow retrieves to quick pulls that simulate a wriggling worm. While results can vary with conditions, many anglers find a multi-color approach helpful as a starting point in new water.

Practical notes

All flies are tied on Mustad Signature hooks, offering durability and reliable point contact. Pair with a suitable leader and drift technique, and adjust depth and speed to explore different layers of the water column. The combination of weight, action, and color options gives you a flexible setup for various trout scenarios.
