Scientific Anglers Absolute Fluorocarbon Trout Tippet (100m, 1X)

Stealthy Trout Presentations that Feel Natural

When visibility matters, the Scientific Anglers Absolute Fluorocarbon Trout Tippet delivers a nearly invisible profile in water thanks to 100% fluorocarbon construction. This tippet is designed for ultimate stealthy presentations, helping flies sit naturally in current and stay convincing to wary trout in clear or lightly pressured streams. The material also contributes to a crisp, predictable feel during casts and mends, aiding you in dialing in your line control under varied light and water conditions.

Supple yet steady for drag-free drifts

The tippet is described as supple, which supports smooth, drag-free drifts through seams, pools, and riffles. This can translate to a more relaxed presentation and a steadier path for your fly as it moves with the water, reducing abrupt movements that spook cautious fish.

How this tippet fits your setup

Pair it with standard leaders for classic trout rigs, or use it as the main tippet in varied setups. The 100 m spool length provides material for tying several rigs and adapting on the water. The range from 6X to 0X accommodates small flies and larger patterns, letting you adjust for drift, presentation, and species without changing spools frequently.
