• Nylon leader family delivers up to 29% higher wet knot strength than previous material.
• Compared to competitors, up to 40% higher wet knot strength in wet conditions.

Absolute technology across materials

• Absolute nylon leaders and tippet are designed for strong knots and reliable suppleness in demanding conditions.
• Absolute fluorocarbon leaders and tippet offer 15% higher wet knot strength and notable clarity plus abrasion resistance.
• The specialty taper is tuned to deliver heavier permit flies, with a medium-stiff construction for abrasion resistance.

Real-world use

On calm flats or windy channels, the 12 lb nylon leader tracks a streamer or larger permit fly with minimal limp and a stable turn. The medium stiffness helps prevent snagging on rocky structure while absorbing a surge when a wary permit takes the fly. The result is a leader you can rely on during long sessions in changing light and water conditions.

Pair the Absolute Permit Leader with the right tippet to extend longevity and preserve taper through a day of casting along the shoreline or wading through a tidal sweep. Whether delivering a streamer presentation or swinging through a soft-water seam, this leader aims to offer dependable performance without overpromising outcomes.
