Overview
Scotty #1009 delivers a compact, purpose-built setup for downrigger rigs. The arrangement is designed to support straightforward transitions between weights and reliable connections as you pursue your next catch.
What’s included

- Six wire joining connectors
- Connector sleeves
Why it matters
The brass and plastic construction offers a balanced mix of durability and corrosion resistance, which can help a rig hold up over time in saltwater environments. The included connector sleeves make it easier to adapt to different rigs without hunting for extra parts, while the swivels are sized to complement typical downrigger setups.
Real‑world use cases
On a trolling spread, these weight swivels can simplify weight changes, keep lines tidy, and reduce tangles during retrieval. The compact dimensions (7.0 inches long, 3.0 inches wide, 0.75 inches high) and light shipping weight (approximately 0.1 lb) make it approachable for anglers who want to keep gear organized in a tackle box or aboard a boat. The six wire joining connectors provide flexible options for wiring configurations as your setup evolves.
Key benefits at a glance
