SFNSM 6x6 Floor Mat for Hunting Platform | Quiet, Warm, Wear-Resistant

Overview

SFNSM's 6x6 Floor Mat for Hunting Platform is designed to disappear beneath your feet as you wait for a quiet moment to move. Crafted from wear-resistant polyester felt, it cushions chairs and feet, dampens the sound of movement, and helps retain warmth on chilly mornings or late-season hunts. The generous 6-by-6-foot size provides ample surface area for a platform setup, while the 0.3-inch thickness offers insulation without bulk. While tailored for hunting blinds, this mat also doubles as a versatile floor layer for other hard surfaces you may encounter on outdoor trips.

Sound dampening and warmth

On a platform where every creek of a chair or footstep can echo, this mat helps keep sounds to a minimum. The gentle surface reduces clatter and chatter, so you can stay focused on your surroundings. The 0.3-inch profile adds a subtle layer of warmth, helping block cold air that can creep underfoot while you wait for action.

What this mat brings to your hunt

• Quiet operation: chairs and feet move with less noise on the fabric.
• Warmth and insulation: a comfortable layer in cool weather.
• Non-slip footing: stable underfoot on various platform surfaces.
• Wear-resistant surface: durable enough for repeated use on outdoor platforms.
• Easy maintenance: simple to shake out, wipe down, or brush clean after hunts.

Materials, care, and durability

The mat is built from lightweight polyester felt that combines wear resistance with water-absorbing properties and heat retention. Its soft yet resilient texture makes it easy to clean and hard to damage, while remaining quietly underfoot. For best results, allow it to air dry after damp conditions and store it flat to preserve its shape.

Fit, versatility, and uses

This product is offered in two practical sizes and can be trimmed to match your platform precisely. The 6x6-foot option suits larger setups and 2-to-4-person platforms, while the 4x4-foot variant fits smaller spaces. Beyond hunting, it adapts to car trunks, garages, bathrooms, or outdoor patio areas, offering a quiet surface wherever you need it.

• Sizes: 6x6 ft and 4x4 ft, with trim-to-fit flexibility.
• Concealment-friendly: reduces movement noise for better stillness.
• Multi-use: suitable for vehicles, workshops, and outdoor spaces.

Practical tips

Lay the mat smooth and aligned with the platform edges. If trimming is needed, use scissors or a utility knife for clean edges. For seasonal hunts, pair with appropriate footwear and seating to maximize comfort and stealth.
