Description
Discover the Shimano 22 Aldebaran BFS, the leader in bait finesse fishing. This 2022 model features a redesigned magnetic brake and the updated FTB system, enabling a wide range of brake settings through a longer moving stroke of the brake unit. The magnetic rings are rearranged to reduce the magnet’s influence at the weakest brake setting to as close to zero as possible. The FTB suppresses excessive braking, and the low-inertia Magnum Light Spool III works in synergy to maintain the Aldebaran’s low trajectory while extending the lure’s life until just before it hits the water.
The result is a reel that lets you cast deep into structure with a trajectory that crawls on the very surface of the water.
Key benefits: refined braking control, extended spool life, and improved casting performance. Ships from Japan.
