Shimano CURADO 150M Fishing Reel — HAGANE Body, SVS Infinity, MGL Spool III

Overview

The Shimano CURADO 150M is a high‑performance baitcasting reel designed to deliver steady power and precise control on the water. Built with rigidity in mind, this reel aims to provide a confident feel during retrieves and stronger cranking across a variety of fishing scenarios. Whether you’re casting across a calm flat or navigating wind and current, the CURADO 150M is tuned to feel responsive without overwhelming the senses.

Core technologies that matter

• HAGANE Body minimizes flex to maximize cranking power and overall rigidity during retrieves.
• SVS Infinity braking provides smooth, adjustable control for consistent, predictable casts.
• MGL Spool III reduces start-up inertia, enabling smoother, more precise casting, even with lighter lures.
• MicroModule Gear II delivers noticeably smoother reeling with reduced gear noise for a quieter day on the water.

Casting feel and handling

• Light-lure presentations become more controllable as start-up inertia drops, aiding delicate placements.
• The compact, rigid platform helps maintain cranking power through long retrieves and when facing wind or current.
