Shimano Current Sniper Jerkbait OM140PEPB – Pink Back | Long-Distance Casting Jerkbait

Meet the Shimano Current Sniper Jerkbait in a striking pink back, engineered for precise, long-distance presentations. Jet BOOST technology lets the internal weight slide back during the cast and spring forward on water entry, helping you reach distant structure and ambush zones with confidence.

In real-world coastal and estuary settings, this jerkbait shines when targeting active fish such as calico bass off Southern California shores or stripers along the East Coast. Long casts and a broad water search profile enable you to cover more water and locate fish quickly. The lure’s slow-floating buoyancy also enables versatile 3 to 5 foot subsurface work, allowing for varied retrieval speeds to dial in responses from different schoolings or depth preferences.

What makes it stand out

• Jet BOOST drives longer casts and smooth water entry by managing weight movement during the cast.
• Dual treble hooks sit at mid-body and tail for improved hookups and leverage on strikes.
• Current Sniper Jerkbait supports multiple retrieval speeds thanks to its buoyancy profile and design.
• Available in 6 sizes to match target species, water depth, and casting distance.

Practical tips for success

• Cast toward likely ambush zones such as points, weed edges, and structure; vary the retrieve tempo to provoke bites.
• Experiment with depth by fishing 3–5 ft below the surface to locate suspended fish or reveal depth preferences.
