Snugpak Basecamp Ops Sleeper Expedition Sleeping Bag – 4-Season, -17°C, Left Zip

Overview

The Snugpak Basecamp Ops Sleeper Expedition is built for cold, demanding nights, delivering substantial warmth through Isofibre insulation. This siliconized hollow fiber fill traps warm air in its micro-cavities, helping to maintain comfort even when conditions shift or moisture rises. The left-side zip, together with a mummy silhouette, is designed to optimize heat retention while allowing easy entry. When you’re ready to rest, the snug hood and draft collar work in harmony to minimize drafts, so you can settle in with a clear sense of warmth and security.

Warmth and insulation

With a four-season design, this bag leans toward serious cold performance while still offering breathable comfort. The insulation is designed to regain full loft after unpacking, ensuring you wake up with a lofted, cushioned feel rather than compressed fabric. The outer shell uses AQUALight 190T polyester for water resistance, helping you stay dry in light dampness or drizzle.

• Loft recovery: Isofibre springs back to bulk after unpacking for consistent warmth.
• Moisture tolerance: insulation stays warm even when damp.
• Heat retention: mummy shape and snug hood minimize heat loss.
• Weather shield: AQUALight 190T polyester adds water repellence and durability.
• Temperature flexibility: designed for extended use across varied cold nights.

Design and comfort

The Basecamp Ops Sleeper Expedition features an anti-snag two-way zipper with a protective zip baffle for easier access and adjustable ventilation. A draft collar seals in warmth, while the snug fit hood helps you stay cozy through the night. The mummy cut eliminates unnecessary bulk and concentrates your body heat into a compact area, making it easier to stay warm when your surroundings tighten in the cold.

• Easy access: anti-snag zipper simplifies entering and exiting.
• Draft control: zip baffle and draft collar help reduce chilly air ingress.
• Secured warmth: snug fit hood traps heat without restricting movement.
• Left-side zipper: convenient entry while preserving heat retention.
• Durable construction: designed for demanding outdoor use.
