Solarez Fly Tie Thin Hard Formula (2 oz) – UV Cure, Shellac-Like Clear Coat

Overview

Solarez Fly Tie Thin Hard Formula is a clear, shellac-like coating designed for fly tying. Its viscosity is comparable to a light motor oil, letting you apply a very thin coat that dries to a hard, durable film when exposed to UV light or sunlight. The resin is an aliphatic urethane known for stability over time, helping your finished flies stay clear and clean as seasons pass.

Ideal for delicate materials and fine threadwork, this formulation aims to deliver a controllable, even finish without excess buildup. The 2 oz bottle provides enough material for multiple fly-tying sessions, making it a practical choice for hobbyists and seasoned tiers alike.
