Description
Meet the SPRO Little John Baby DD Citrus Shad
Designed by B.A.S.S. pro John Crews, the SPRO Little John Baby DD combines a compact deep-diving profile with reliable casting performance. This 1-pack deep diving crankbait targets mid-to-deep water, offering a versatile option for anglers exploring structure and cover.
Why anglers choose the Baby DD
Key features blend performance with SPRO reliability. The soft tungsten weight transfer system helps you cast farther and more accurately than many similar crankbaits, letting you reach mid-depth zones without overworking your wrist.
- Soft tungsten weight transfer enables longer casts and better depth control.
- Compact profile suits precise presentations around cover and structure.
- Dives to depths of up to 12 feet for mid-to-deep water exploration.
- Premium Gamakatsu treble hooks for confident hookups.
The Citrus Shad color provides a vivid, water-friendly profile that can tempt bass in clear or stained water. With balanced buoyancy and a lifelike action, this bait offers presentational versatility that can adapt to changing conditions without forcing aggressive retrieves.
Real-life use and handling
Anglers report success casting from bank or boat, across drop-offs, along weed edges, or near submerged timber. Its smaller size helps it cut through currents and stay on track during steady or varied retrieves. The overall feel remains responsive without being overpowering, making it a flexible choice for many water types.
Notes on use and expectations: outcomes vary by water, season, and technique. The Baby DD invites a patient, exploratory approach. It’s designed to work within a deep-water strategy, adding one more option to your tackle box without promising guaranteed results.
