TackleHouse CFP135 Popper | 5.3in Floating Lure, 135mm, 45g | Silver Black HVC #23

Overview

The TackleHouse CFP135 Popper is a compact floating lure engineered to deliver a crisp, audible pop with each light jerk. Its focused sound design—often described as a precise “pop” in the water—helps you read water conditions and place your retrieve with confidence. The lure’s buoyant profile and tuned sound chamber create a balanced, engaging action that many anglers notice right away on the first cast.

Sound, action, and on-water feel

With a dedicated sound chamber and a splash-friendly cup, the CFP135 emphasizes clarity and consistency in pop, even during light jerks. Anglers report a satisfying, audible signal that travels across the water surface, helping you time your downward and upward retrieves for a natural, responsive feel. The near-surface pop is part of the lure’s character, inviting bites in a variety of water conditions.

• Clear pop sound enhances strike timing without requiring heavy jerks
• Sound-focused design supports predictable, repeatable action
• Floating profile keeps the lure near the surface for easy pops

Design, buoyancy, and casting distance

Designed for distance without sacrificing precision, the CFP135 combines a compact body with higher specific gravity. This pairing yields solid casting distance and stability, enabling you to reach both shoreline targets and offshore zones more efficiently. The water interaction is tuned to hold the lure in the upper water column where pops and pulses stay visually and audibly distinct.

• Compact 5.3-inch (135 mm) body with 45 g weight supports longer casts
• High specific gravity aids distance while maintaining action clarity
• Floating design helps keep pops concentrated in the target zone
