Tecomate Monster Mix – Turkey & Deer Seed for Food Plots (Clover & Chicory)

Premium Clover & Chicory Blend for Year-Round Attraction

Tecomate Monster Mix is a perennial seed blend designed to support deer activity and turkey presence across seasons. The mix pairs clover with chicory to provide a palatable, protein-rich forage that thrives from late winter into spring and continues to nourish wildlife through summer and fall.

What makes Monster Mix stand out

• High-protein forage from a carefully selected mix helps sustain deer through growth periods while also inviting turkeys to explore year-round.
• Long-lasting forage designed as a perennial blend that can endure heavy grazing and return season after season when managed properly.
• Versatility across regions with broad planting adaptability, suitable for a wide range of plots and climates.
• Protein-focused nutrition includes a clover base with a 30% chicory component, offering a robust protein boost that hunters often associate with healthier deer.

Longevity and resilience

When tended, Monster Mix can persist for multiple seasons, helping you keep plots productive with fewer re-seeding needs. The blend is built to withstand repeated grazing, encouraging wildlife to return.

Planting and maintenance tips

• Planting rate: target 8 pounds per acre for a robust stand.
• Site preparation: choose a sunny location with a cleaned, level seedbed. Use no-till, drill, broadcast, or a combination of methods.
• Seeding depth: sow 1/8 to ¼ inch deep in good moisture; lightly cover seed after broadcasting.
• Timing: frost seeding is acceptable in colder climates to extend the planting window.
• Spring maintenance: mow or apply a grass-selective herbicide to maintain a productive 6-inch canopy through spring and early summer.

Whether you’re creating a fall attraction or a year-round nutrition source, Monster Mix offers a practical, field-ready option. This blend emphasizes practical results, not guarantees, helping you tailor your plot to local conditions and wildlife patterns.
