The Illuminator from Rago Fabrication is a modular light-mount system designed to extend your vehicle’s nighttime visibility. Crafted from durable aluminum and finished in a satin black powder coat, it stays light on your rack while standing up to the rigors of off‑grid travel. This mount keeps a clean profile, yet delivers targeted light where you most need it when you’re navigating trails, setting up camp, or pulling into a dark campsite. The result is practical illumination that feels natural to your setup, without overpromising results.

Two variations address different lighting needs while offering a unified mounting experience. The S2 Light Mount works with Baja Designs S2 lights for strong, focused output. The Universal Rock Light Mount accepts universal rock lights for flexible side illumination. Both configurations position light at a 35° angle to maximize side coverage, helping you see obstacles, steps, and gear along the sides of your rig as you move through dark terrain or unlit campsites.

Installation and Compatibility

Compatibility is broad, designed to work with all Rago Fabrication roof racks and molle panels and to fit a wide range of roof racks on the market. The Illuminator can be mounted on either side of your roof rack for balanced lighting, or bolted onto molle panels for versatile inside and outside illumination. Please note that lights are not included.
