Thump Gel Crank'n Gel Fish Attractant

Thump Gel Crank'n Gel Fish Attractant is a scented gel designed to be applied to crankbait lures. This flexible gel clings to curved surfaces and leaves behind a subtle aroma as you reel, helping your lure maintain action while being noticed by nearby fish. The formula is designed for versatility across different water conditions and seasons, and it does not rely on harsh solvents.

Why anglers consider it

Coating a crankbait with a thin layer can enhance the lure's presence in the water. The gel coating adds a tactile, slightly tacky surface that can stay in place through casts and retrieves, reducing the need for frequent reapplication during a session. It also introduces a scent trail that may draw the attention of curious fish at various depths.

Key benefits

• Easy to apply with a thin, even coat to the lure body or lip, promoting consistent action.
• Viscous, translucent texture that adheres to lures without creating a heavy layer.
• Longer-lasting feel compared to wetter dips, with aroma that persists through multiple casts.
• Compatibility with common crankbait styles and water temperatures, from clear streams to murkier bays.

How to use

• Prepare the lure by wiping away moisture for best adhesion.
• Apply a light layer focusing on the lip and upper body to maximize action and scent dispersion.
• Allow a brief dry time before casting; reapply as needed after sessions or when the gel appears worn.
• Wash hands after use; the gel cleans easily with water and mild soap.

Realistic expectations

Anglers often report that coating a lure can improve on-water presence without changing the lure’s motion. The outcome depends on water clarity, temperature, and fish behavior. Consider it a potential enhancement to your standard crankbait setup rather than a guaranteed result.
