Meet the Vexan Super-D Swimbait

Designed to mimic live bait with lifelike movement, curly tail action, and holographic eyes, this 4.7 oz lure measures 9 inches of body length with a 14 inch tail. When cast and retrieved, the profile, subtle sway, and reflective eyes are crafted to catch the attention of game fish such as bass, musky, walleye, crappie, and other freshwater species across a range of water conditions.

Durability is built into the design. The lure uses a full coil internal harness, hand poured soft plastic, and a reinforced jig head to withstand aggressive strikes and long days on the water. The result is a lure that remains reliable during extended fishing sessions and when working through tough cover.

Key benefits

  • Lifelike visuals and movement with curly tail action and holographic eyes that draw attention in the water.
  • Rugged construction featuring a full coil harness and reinforced jig head for heavy bites.
  • Optimized hook placement with a rear hook near the tail for improved hookups on short strikes.
  • Versatile performance as a crankbait, jerkbait, or jig with slow, medium, or fast retrieves.
  • Depth control that counts down at 1 foot per second for precise depth targeting.
  • American owned brand based in Iowa offering premium fishing products.

How to use the Super-D Swimbait

Cast toward weed edges, structure, and open water and vary your retrieve to find the game fish response. Start with a slow crawl and adjust speed to encourage a natural looking action. Use deeper depths for suspended fish and shallower actions for mid water encounters.

  • Begin with a slow crawl along weed lines to establish contact with residence fish.
  • Switch to medium or fast retrieves to trigger aggressive strikes in open water.
  • Use the depth count to remain in the desired depth zone during the retrieval.
  • Incorporate pauses to mimic a baitfish pause and entice reaction bites.
