Illuminate Lures in Seconds

The Vexilar VGR001 Glow-Ring packs a compact UV glow capability into a purpose-built light chamber. With a brief exposure, glow-painted lures take on a bright, steady radiance that helps you track presentation in low-light conditions. The result is a practical, easy-to-use tool designed to fit seamlessly into both home setups and on-the-rly field sessions.

How It Works

Inside the Glow-Ring, high-quality UV LEDs activate glow paints on lures. A short, controlled exposure—often just one second—produces a visible glow that remains for the duration of your fishing session. This simple process can improve lure visibility without complicated steps or lengthy prep.

Power, Mounting, and Versatility

  • Power options include a direct connection to your Vexilar battery via a quick-connect charging cable, or power from a carry case using supplied gator clip adapters.
  • A mounting bracket is included to install the Glow-Ring on a Vexilar Genz pack or on the wall of a permanent fish house, offering flexible placement.
  • The Glow-Ring doubles as a rod holder in a pinch, adding practical versatility to a compact setup.

Durability and Craft

Crafted from durable materials, the Glow-Ring is built for both indoor and outdoor use. Made in the USA, it presents a reliable glow solution that travels well, with a package weight around 1.2 lbs for easy transport and quick setup.

What’s Included and Real-World Use

  • GLO-RING light chamber that delivers fast activation of glow paints
  • Gator clip adapters for flexible power sourcing
  • Direct quick-connect cable for Vexilar batteries
  • Mounting bracket for Genz pack or wall installation

Real-Life Scenarios

Perfect for pre-dusk lure prep, night or low-light conditions, and quick glow refreshes between casts. Its compact design and rod-holder capability make it a convenient companion for ice fishing, rigger setups, or seasonal backcountry outings. The Glow-Ring’s USA-made construction and thoughtful mounting options offer a dependable, adaptable glow solution without overhauling your existing gear. View the companion video to see the Glow-Ring in action and imagine how it could fit into your routine.

Note: Benefits described reflect the listed features and typical usage scenarios. Actual results may vary with lure paint, ambient light, and fishing conditions.
