Description
About the material
Wapsi Barred Rabbit Zonker Strips in Fl. Orange are designed for fly tyers who value quality and consistency. Each batch begins with carefully selected rabbit hides, chosen for natural softness and a subtle luster. Through expert soft-tanning, the strips become pliable yet durable, bending and fluttering with realistic motion when tied into a wide range of patterns.
Color and sizing are tailored with care. The wide spectrum of colors is applied to maintain true-to-spec hues across batches, so your projects stay visually consistent from reel to rack. The Fl. Orange shade delivers bright visibility while preserving a natural fur texture, helping your flies stand out without appearing artificial. The zonker strips are meticulously cut to size, providing reliable width and length for straightforward tying and a clean, professional appearance.
