Description
This Wild Water combo pairs a nine-foot, 9/10-weight fly rod with an adjustable-disc-drag reel. The four-piece IM8 graphite rod and hard transport tube make it a configuration to consider when you want a heavier fly outfit that separates into sections for travel.
| Rod | 9 ft; four pieces; 9/10 weight |
|---|---|
| Blank / action | IM8 graphite; medium-fast action |
| Reel | 103 mm spool; die-cast aluminium; adjustable disc drag |
| Loaded line | WF10-F floating line; 30 lb backing; 9 ft 0X leader |
| Transport | 32-inch hard tube with reel pouch; sectioned rod bag |
Match the outfit to your intended flies
Use the 9/10-weight rod rating and supplied WF10-F line when comparing this outfit with lighter trout combinations. Consider fly size and the fishing conditions you expect before choosing the setup. The reel arrives in left-hand retrieve and can be converted to right-hand retrieve. A seven-inch cork handle and extension butt provide distinct grip positions, while the sectioned bag keeps the rod pieces organised inside the tube.
