YSS NVG Mount Rhino Kit for PVS-14 Night Vision Goggles – Helmet Mount with J-Arm

Overview

The YSS NVG Mount Rhino Kit combines a rugged metal Rhino mount with a plastic J-arm, engineered to secure PVS-14 night vision goggles on a helmet. This versatile assembly supports quick left-right eye switching and adapts to varying observation conditions, from crouched concealment to open-field patrols.

Why this kit stands out

• Lightweight yet sturdy: A thoughtful mix of aluminum alloy and plastic reduces overall weight by about 35% while maintaining durability for demanding use.
• Stable, reliable mounting: Card-slot connections paired with tenon-and-mortise interfaces keep the system fixed to the helmet, even during dynamic movement.
• Broad compatibility: Designed to work with PVS-14 and PVS-7 goggles and with common helmets such as MICH, ACH, and FAST, along with their bases and brackets.
• Multi-dimensional adjustment: Tilt and forward/backward levers let you tailor the distance and angle between the goggles and your eyes for personalized comfort.
• Flip-up convenience: The unit can be flipped up when NVGs aren’t in use, preserving full field of view.
• Easy installation: Quick-connect design enables helmet mounting without extra tools, simplifying on-site setup.

Real-world use and scenarios

Whether you're in hunting, tactical training, or low-light reconnaissance, the Rhino Kit supports practical, scenario-driven adjustments. The J-arm’s range allows observers to switch between left and right eye configurations to reduce strain and optimize sightlines in varied environments. Expect smoother transitions as you move through dense brush, stair-step elevations, or open terrain at night.

• Comfort-first observations: Flexible alignment helps maintain a steady view over long sessions.
• Adaptive observation: Quick orientation changes are possible without removing the goggles.
• Field-ready design: Lightweight components contribute to reduced fatigue during extended wear.
