Overview

Designed by Elite pro Jason Christie, the Christie Craw is a versatile soft bait crafted for accuracy in crowded cover. Measuring 3-1/2 inches, this bait shines as a jig trailer or as a standalone craw on Carolina or Texas rigs, offering a balanced mix of action and scent-free profile that can help you present a lifelike crawfish impersonation.

What makes Christie Craw stand out

  • Compact craw profile that swims and flails to resemble a crawfish
  • Hyper-action claws with thicker plastic ends to maximize movement
  • 3-1/2 inches long, a flexible size for a variety of fishing scenarios
  • Designed by Elite Pro Jason Christie
  • Includes 8 baits per pack

Real-world use and versatility

The Watermelon Seed hue provides strong visibility in stained water and on pressured waters, helping the bait stand out when paired with a jig trailer. Its compact body supports steady retrieves, pauses, and craw-like pauses along cover, edges, and structure.

Rigging, tips, and scenarios

  • Flipping into thick cover: drop in, then pause to let the action unfold
  • Pitches to docks, weed lines, and structural edges with a controlled pull
  • Carolina or Texas rigs: use as the primary craw or as a trailer for added water displacement

In practice, this Christie Craw offers a thoughtful blend of lifelike movement and easy rigging. It’s a viable option to diversify your tackle, with the potential to adapt to various bodies of water and fishing styles. As with all baits, performance will depend on conditions, technique, and cadence.
