Z-MAN CBW-PZ38-06 Project Z Weedless ChatterBait – Snag-Resistant Bladed Jig

Engineered for anglers who chase reaction bites around structure, the Z-MAN CBW-PZ38-06 Project Z weedless chatterbait blends blade flash with a stealthy weed guard. This design borrows the proven tournament-winning DNA of the standard Project Z while adding a heavy fiber weedguard that helps you negotiate wood, brush, docks, grass, and laydowns with less snagging.

Key benefits

• Heavy fiber weedguard boosts snag resistance around cover such as wood, brush, docks, grass, and laydowns.
• 5/0 black nickel Mustad UltraPoint hook paired with stainless blades for strong, reliable hookups and blade action.
• Dual molded keeper barbs secure soft plastic trailers for confident rigging.
• Super-strong quick clip line tie designed for durability during rapid retrieves.
• Made in the USA with 3D eyes and multi-step, double umbrella Z-Tie EZ Skirt paint schemes for an ultra-realistic look.

On the water

Designed to be weedless, this bait is built to slide through cover with less hang ups, offering a distinct blade flash during every retrieve. The realistic paint and 3D eyes help imitate a live target as you sweep the jig past laydowns, around docks, and over submerged grass.

• Cast near structure and expect the blade to flare as you reel; the weedguard helps navigate tight spots.
• Pair with a soft plastic trailer to fine tune action and dialing in bite triggers in different conditions.
• Use in grassy or woody areas where standard jigs may foul; the weedguard is intended to reduce fouling and fouling-related losses.

Whether you are chasing a reaction bite around structure or exploring wind-driven chop, the Project Z bait provides a blend of flash and stealth. While results can vary with water clarity, cover, and timing, this weedless bladed jig offers a versatile option to consider as part of a broader approach to fishing on the water.
