Z-MAN MinnowZ Swimbait – Lifelike ElaZtech Soft Bait for Bass, Striper, and More

Meet MinnowZ, Z-MAN's flagship swimbait designed to mimic the look, action, and subtle attraction of a live minnow. Its compact paddle tail delivers realistic movement that can entice a wide range of game fish, from bass tucked along structure to species patrolling open water. Built for versatility, MinnowZ shines in freshwater and coastal scenarios, helping you cover more water with a single, easy-to‑rig soft bait.

Why MinnowZ stands out

• Ultra-soft, yet incredibly durable ElaZtech construction delivers lifelike swimming action while standing up to tough conditions.
• Designed for seamless rigging with Trout Eye jigheads, 3/0 JigheadZ, or 3/0 HeadlockZ HD for secure, weedless setups.
• Split dorsal fin design protects the hook point, enabling weedless presentations through grasses and cover.
• Compact 3-inch length, packed six baits per package for flexible, day-long fishing options.
• Made in the USA and offered in a wider color range than many ElaZtech baits, helping you dial in visibility.

How to fish MinnowZ

Start with a steady retrieve near cover or structure, letting the paddle tail push clean water to trigger inquiries from predatory fish. Vary cadence from slow to moderate to match water clarity and the target species. The bait’s profile is compact enough for tight quarters yet expressive enough to draw attention in open water.

Rigging and species ideas

• Largemouth and smallmouth bass respond to its natural minnow silhouette in freshwater lakes and rivers.
• Stripers, redfish, and other coastal targets can be engaged with mid-depth or near-structure presentations using weedless setups.
• Flounder and sea trout benefit from the tail action and compact design during daylight or low-light windows.

All MinnowZ baits are manufactured in the USA and come in colors designed to maximize visibility and contrast under diverse lighting. Each pack includes six 3-inch baits, giving you ample quantity to test multiple colors or rig styles across a fishing day.
