Z-Man MSH-84PK8 Shad Fryz 1.75in Pearl – 8 Pack | ElaZtech Paddle Tail Swimbait

Z-Man Shad Fryz 1.75in Pearl: An 8-Pack of Paddle-Tail Swimbaits

Meet the Z-Man MSH-84PK8 Shad Fryz in Pearl, a compact 1.75-inch paddle-tail swimbait designed to mirror tiny shad and baby panfish. Packaged as an 8-pack, these baits are built with ElaZtech super-soft material to deliver a natural, lifelike profile and subtle tail kick. The result is a versatile lure that can be fished across water types and conditions without overwhelming finesse presentations.

Design advantages that matter on the water

• Bite-sized design aimed at crappies, panfish, trout, and other species that target small forage.
• Replicates small shad and baby panfish—one of the most common forage items for larger panfish.
• Slim, deep-bodied profile transitions into a segmented tail and a specialized swimming tail for realistic action.
• Soft ElaZtech material yields a subtle, lifelike swimming motion at almost any retrieve speed, including during the fall with light jigheads.
• 10X Tough construction resists tail bite-offs and supports a high fish-per-bait efficiency.

When and how to fish it

• Water conditions: works well in clear to lightly stained water, from calm backwaters to modest current.
• Rigging ideas: pair with light jigheads for a finesse presentation or use a slightly heavier setup for longer casts.
• Retrieval: try steady sweeps, pausing on the drop, or varied speeds to trigger bites as the tail kicks and the body pulses.
• Target species: crappie, panfish, trout, and other predators that key on small baitfish.

The Shad Fryz line emphasizes a balance between a compact, forage-like silhouette and a tail that moves with a natural rhythm. With eight baits per pack, anglers can experiment with rigging styles and retrieves to find what triggers bites in different waterways—all without sacrificing lure durability or action. While results depend on many factors, the combination of size, profile, and material is designed to offer a versatile option for seasonally varied fishing days.
