Experience lifelike action with Z-Man SJS35-388PK5 Scented Jerk ShadZ, a 3.5-inch pro-grade soft jerkbait crafted for both salt and freshwater use. The forked tail moves with a convincing baitfish rhythm, while a Pro-Cure Super Gel scent blend adds an extra layer of attraction. Built with the legendary ElaZtech 10X Tough material, this lure is designed to endure long days on the water without losing its supple feel.

What makes Scented Jerk ShadZ stand out

The lure combines a salt-impregnated profile with a vivid, split-tail design that delivers a lively, erratic action. The scent-infused formula helps maintain a natural odor in the water column, and the ElaZtech material provides durability and flexibility for repeated casts and retrieves.

• 10X Tough ElaZtech construction for durability and lifelike action
• Salt impregnation supports scent persistence and realistic feel
• Pro-Cure Super Gel scent enhances underwater attraction
• Forked tail creates jittery, baitfish-like motion across retrieves

Rigging options and versatility

Rig it weightless for a slow, fluttering presentation or pair with a weighted hook or jighead to bottom bounce along structure or current. The lure adapts to a range of depths and water conditions, letting you tailor your approach on the fly.

• Weightless rig for slow flutter and subtle depth control
• Weighted hook or jighead for deeper or faster retrieves
• Forked tail promotes erratic action that mimics tricky baitfish

Ideal targets and on-water scenarios

Designed with inshore anglers in mind, the Scented Jerk ShadZ targets redfish, seatrout, flounder, and snook, among others. It performs well across shallow flats, cooler or warmer days, and varied water clarity, offering a versatile option for many conditions without promising guaranteed results.

When you cast this lure, you may notice the buoyant yet responsive body delivering consistent tail kicks that translate into attention from nearby gamefish. In real-world trips, anglers often appreciate the combination of scent, bite-triggering action, and the lure’s durable build for extended sessions on the water.
